The post you are reporting:
Now Alexander
In the interests of debate some of your last 3 texts need replies.
Firstly in previous threads although you don't support them, and couldn't be bothered to vote for them, yet you continue post as though you did and how only they are the party that can change things.
On the question of the cuts, there are a few posters on here who still support them, but in reality I have read your posts and cannot see any viable alternative from you.
Finally, on the question of churches(watch the reaction to this one lol) We are where we are, without doubt as iv said on other threads, church numbers of attendance are steadily declining, so much so the Cof E is concerned on it.
This brings me to the two points you keep raising.
1; School teaching; you keep saying, i'm trying to misquote you(im not) you keep on about christinanity should be taught in
schools, now, if you believe this and are tolerant of others beliefs(or non beliefs) you would give the opportunity for other
religions to also be taught? so that the children don't get a slanted view.
Now, to justify this just a little, i was brought up in a christian catholic faith, and got married in a church of England church
so please, I have some strong views on religion, but what i attempt not to do, is force these views on others, but io do
respect many differing views on it.
2; Church's closing will come down to bums on seats, if you don't get the people into churchs then religions will find it
hard to justify keeping large buildings open, as this has big costs that go with it.
So maybe you cant blame the govt/local councils for this decline, but maybe you can put some of the blame on those
leaders of local churches who maybe are not getting there message across?
