This is not a problem which impacts on the elderly. I know young people, some working some not, who are finding it very difficult to heat their homes, often going hungry so that they can keep their children warm. It really does harp back to Victorian times, washing up once a day, bathing weekly, limiting washing clothes, going to bed early to save electric etc, etc, etc....
I am struggling, having been recently widowed and then being made redundant I am informed that as I recieve £90 a week ( only until August, and then what?) I cannot recieve any other help as the amount I am expected to survive on is just £70!!
