    Ed, I thought that 'normal' firemen were trained to tackle ship fires. I am fairly sure that when there was a serious fire on the Seafreight Freeway a few years back our local firemen were the ones that boarded the ship.

    My husband was on that day and as he was also medical officer on there he had to deal with the results. He was never the same afterwards treating some of his friends who were badly burned, even though he had dealt with some nasty accidents in the past this seemed to be the turning point.
