    I suspect if one of us mingled as a fellow traveller amongst them and remarked about popping in the town which is only 5 minute`s walk away, the response from one of the passenger`s would be; "We can`t really, as we`ve got to be in Canterbury in an hours time. Dover is beautiful when you compare it to many other places, it`s just the lack of shops, the low life about and the lack of information about for tourist`s. Maybe that`s why they mainly head for the beach?
