See the frontpage for the latest. Armed robbers too by the sound of it. Quite rare in Dover I would imagine.

The River Co-op has long been a source of work for local, young people. I worry that this will give many cause to think about whether they want to work in such an environment which will be a real shame.

Rather shocking. I hope the people working there are ok, and that the scumbags who did it are caught.

Wearing high-vis jackets and with faces masked they could have been mistaken for Police.

Very good point Tom, there seems to be an increase nationwide with rapscallions using these tactics.

The way things are in London and the other big cities will cum to Dover some time
Graffiti
Muggings
Armed robbery
And probably the most corrosive of all gangs
Then Brian, we will need a big dancing party

It may well be that the first thing Dover, or any other place, needs to attract all manner of thuggery is indigenous heartlessness and despair.
Anything that lies down to die will find maggots.
Please do not attempt to make a virtue out of being ready 'for em'. For it is, as I say above, that maggots are sure to be where there is decay.
It is better to be up-beat and to show that there is still life and full vigour in your own community. I know that this sounds fairly pathetic when it is said by one or more of the people who have, and have long had, oversight of and Political control of your town, but it is nonetheless true.

Tom, what you say is borne out by history. Decaying communities have little resistance to infestation. And Dover is not decaying by ay means, so let's face it out!
