13:5168585I love going to this but it is such a long way and difficult on public transport. Sometimes schools go and I would like to accompany anyone. Please let me know if you hear of anyone going.
It is at NEC Birmingham.

14:2368589Anne some companies and local newspapers run coach trips to the Clothes show. I know it wouldn't be quite the same as going with someone, but there will be many like-minded women en route. If it's one that is in the coach trip ads in the back of the local paper there will undoubtedly be local pick-up points.

14:5768601Would it be worth contacting the NEC to see if they can help.
There is a train station within walking distance from the NEC with the train running direct from Marylebone, I think. I was going to go to a glass fair a few years ago and someone found out for me. I guess it would cost a bit though.

They have a Dover pick up point.
Yes Jan is right, there is a train that goes from Marylebone to the NEC (as well as Euston.)

18:5768644Thanks everyone, you are clever Jean finding that coach holiday it looks good. I think it is a bit too expensive though for me especially with the single supplement. I have looked into the train situation but there are a lot of changes. Yes there is a train station at NEC but from here there is a change at London..it is a route I know well as travel to Liverpool quite often. By the time I get there it would be time to start back!!
I think a school trip would be good if anyone hears of one. I am just going to look at Furlongs travel because i went just for the day with them years and years and years ago.

19:0668646Another possibility.

What about a college or Uni that have fashion in any form as one of their courses.
