  just in case someone is not aware, the clocks go back tomorrow at 2 a.m.
  
  there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth amongst the ferry staff, port workers and those in the emergency services who are on shift later tonight.

  Sooooooooooooooo glad that does not effect me any more Howard. Finishing on a saturday eve after 12hrs and going back the next morning for another 12hrs was shattering.
  
  And on that note, I had to change about 50 clocks and timers around the school this week, I'm glad I have started replacing old clocks with radio controlled ones, saves me a lot of hastle in years to come.
  
  My work wrist watch is the same, never have to touch it now, all done remotely.
  grass grows by the inches but dies by the feet.

  still say stay on central eurpean time.health benifits etc,allso deters some light fingerd tea leaves from nicking the famly silver.

  aww Ian i love those old clocks though.. especially the ones in the old block along the L , M and top floor.

  Just cannot understand why, in this day and age, we cannot cope with keeping the time the same all year. This constant backwards and forwarding gets on my nerves. Don't give me c..p about the milking, etc. Time is just what you call it, I am sure cows don't care whether it is called 4 am or 5 am or whatever, so long as they get milked before they are uncomfortable.

  The Royal Palaces reportedly had over 1000 clocks to alter.
  I'm with you on that one Diana.
  It didn't really affect me as I have been awake most of the night as I have bad dose of flu.
