I took a walk to help sort out a problem for a resident of Clarendon Street this afternoon and took my camera and walked along the above alleyways to see for myself, what (if any) fly-tipping and other rubbish had been dumped there.
When the Priory Forum last did a clean-up in these alleys, it was greatly helped by lots of people - residents came out and helped and Una Mills the community officer at DDC asked the guys from Veolia if they could/would walk along both alleyways on a Wednesday to sweep up any dog-poo and other smallish items of litter.
A commitment was made that they would indeed walk along and keep clean both alleyways, but that sadly seems to have ceased.
I find it difficult to understand how people can do this kind of thing and how they must live.
