  on the box earlier was an item on the effort by medway to get city status.
  
  a while back mr elphicke was trying to do the same for dover, what has happened since?

  I thought Mr. Elphicke wanted to save our green belt instead.
  Has he changed his mind now?
  Would the Town Council have to change the name to "Portus and Urbs Dover"?
  Furthermore, I don't recall any electorate in Dover ever asking Charlie to change our status into that of a city.

  It has cost Medway a lot of money so far,it would be a waste of time and money for Dover.
  If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

  i never thought of it as a goer, just surprised that we had the initial announcement then nothing.
