did anyone know of the event at the library today where children were taught the basics of juggling, unicycling and that sort of stuff?
i have been sent some pics that i will post here later, but it seems another unannounced event has passed people by.
it was a k.c.c event doing the rounds all over the county, and in fairness to d.d.c. it was on their events listing, but ther were no signs around anywhere.

Another event poorly advertised
K.C.C. has a habit of not telling people what they are up to.
A good example was in county AYCLIFFE, having run football sides up on the recreation ground and around the ward, we went up one day to find the recreation ground completely ripped up.
the K.C.C., youth van (probably duplicating services we already provide) rather than working with our club, just went ahead without warning, and we were left to pick up the pieces.

There were obviously some kids/parents that heard about it, or it would have been a complete dead loss. Glad for those concerned it was (looks like) a success.
If my email address groups had more email addresses on it, I could let even more people know what's going on, but perhaps people are nervous about giving their email address out, even when told it will be kept safe - not sold on and emails sent blind, meaning they will not receive any spam or scam emails from them.
