  Morecambe and Wise are still top of my list. I also think they would be just as popular if they were still around and making shows as they would have guests that today's generation like, Ed Sheeran for example.

  My favourite out of that list is a Royle Family Christmas day episode when Jim's wife slumped down with her shopping and uttered the words "got all the presents now I must have spent nearly two hours in that Poundland".

  Just looked at the listings and Eric and Ernie have a two hour slot on Channel 5 from 9 PM on Christmas evening. For those of us that have no cultural taste ITV 3 is showing "Carry on" films all day.

  Yippeeee! C5 tonight at 11.55 Steptoe and son the movie.... Apart from the Emmerdale 1x hour long episode the other ly 2x things that take my fancy...
