Unfortunately the left don't like Christmas.
Christmas, a mixture of Christianity, family, capitalism, charity and joy, is everything that they despise.
All right thinking people know that all religions and relationships are equal, capitalism (which has brought more people out of poverty than socialism ever could) is evil, charity should be unnecessary as all ills should be sorted out by the 'Gummint' from taxation of such as wicked bankers, and no-one should be joyful whilst there is still so much suffering in the world!
