    Did anybody notice the " Gringe"? Allegedly that was the Town Clerk dressed up. If this is indeed true, "well done to her" for going the extra mile. I didn't notice any other Cllrs milling about;- it seems a wasted opportunity to have mixed with the locals and be seen doing so. What better way to gage the mood and the needs of those they represent than mixing with the locals. Well, I do appreciate the efforts made by those who got the job of dressing the centre part of the town for the switch on but can't help but wish there had been a bit more. If comments of it costing £25,000, all but a few pounds, are correct, I can only hope those that made decisions "learn as they go".
