  Our Chair was asked directly if she would like to do a "healthy cooking" demonstration - hardly involving the LRCF community and no one saw fit to contact the Secretary which is normal protocol in these matters.
  
  Frankly it needs more thought than seems to have been applied this year - for instance we have a number of artists amongst our members, good amateur photographers/video makers, model makers, we run a highly successful book stall at other events etc..
  I am sure other community groups have members with skills that could be used to involve visitors in.
  
  Perhaps a stall(s) getting children to make christmas cards (printing or collage for example), christmas tree decorations from things like old CDs or origami decorations, or making felt elf or santa hats or similar festive items.
