The lights are very pretty this year, shame there was none in Castle Street, as PaulB says on front page, everyone loves that shot of Castle Street lit up with our glorious illuminated Castle in the background. Dont get me started on the other photo everyone loves, the fountain in full flow against the Castle background
I agree that it would certainly be a good idea to have a raised platform so all can see whats going on. Even though the screen did indeed come into its own, it was still sometimes impossible to see the screen as little children were perched on the shoulders of their parents and friends so they could see and rightly so
The Christmas tree is lovely with blue twinkling lights, well they looked blue to me. I was down there with daughter Briony and we really enjoyed ourselves. There was lots of Chrismas cheer about and we had a great laugh with people we had never met before whilst queuing for yummy donuts, for Briony of course
Well done to DTC and all who made it so enjoyable.
