I don't get out as much as I used to these days so I don't meet many of you. Nevertheless I'd like to join Sue and wish you all a peaceful Christmas.
I leave you with a song from my favourite singer:-

Regarding post 4, Wiki says 'In the UK, it is the most-played Christmas song of the 21st century. "Fairytale of New York" has been cited as the best Christmas song of all time in various television, radio and magazine related polls in the UK and Ireland'. (I concur.) Which goes to show that, when it matters, people can be expected to vote the right way...

Saw this earlier.
"Every Christmas we'd run downstairs to the big pile of presents and start unwrapping them as fast as we could. Sometimes there would be fights over who had the best gifts but we would all make up later and sit down to have a three hour dinner before watching telly for the rest of the day. I really miss working at the Royal Mail sorting office."
