  still there today, appears to have taken up residence.
  
  when i saw him he was walking in the river next to the bank on the bus station side poking his beak into the undergrowth on the bank.
  
  i watched for quite a while and could not work out what he was expecting to find.

  still there today with a crowd around him, seems comfortable being the centre of attention.
  
  the problem is that he could get too trusting.

  I saw him too Howard about 1 pm Wed. loads of people watching him. I bumped into Ian who had been down to the beach with his two lovely little dogs and we were saying the same thing about him being too tame. It's only a matter of time until the yobs find out about him and start throwing things.

  or set their dogs on him alec, he wouldn't stand much of a chance.
  
  yesterday he was walking around the bandstand, too far from the water in my view.
