Over the past few weeks I have attended five Carol events and two Advent services .Last night was very special singing outside in the High Street at Wingham. The music was provided by the Salvation Army .Father Christmas arrived much to the delght of the children and me ,on a fire engine,My role takes me to all parts of the District and it is always a pleasure to meet so many residents.
DDC administration maybe at Whitfield however I visit as many villages as I can

Is Wingham part of the Dover District? I thought it came under Canterbury?

Yes Paul one of the 32 Parishes.DDC includes Preston and ,Stourmouth also .Aylesham but not Addisham.Denton and Wotton are in our District ..We are a large rural district .
