    CHRISTMAS CAKE RECIPE WITH A DIFFERENCE - FROM CANADA:

    Ingredients : 1 cup water, 1tsp baking soda, 1 cup sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1 cup brown sugar, lemon juice,
    4 large eggs, nuts, 1 bottle Johnnie Walker, 2 cups dried fruit.

    Method : sample the Johnnie Walker to check quality. 
    Take a large bowl, check the whisky again.  To be sure, it really is OK. 
    Pour 1 cup of whisky and drink.  Repeat. 
    Turn on electric mixer.  Beat 1 cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl.  Add 1 tsp of sugar. 
    Beat again.  Make sure whisky is still OK.  Turn off mixerer. 
    Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in cup of dried fruit. 
    Mix on the turner.  If the fruit gets stuck in the beaters, pry it loose with a drewscriver. 
    Sample the whisky to check for tonsisticity.
    Next, sift 2 cups of salt.  Or something.  Whatever you can find.
    Greash the oven and push in the fridge.  Turn the cake tin 350 defrees. 
    Don't forget to beat off the turner.  Throw the bowl through the window. 
    Check the whisky again and go to bed.  from Canada
