Just this morning Chris Huhne, along with his ex wife Vicky Pryce, has been charged with perverting the course of justice. It is alleged that he was driving a car while speeding... but she indicated inaccurately to the proper authorities that she was the one driving...but not so...it seems.
It all came to light when Huhne left his wife and they filed for divorce...oh dear! Bitter!
Bullet proof Huhne, known for his iron clad visage, may now have to resign from the government where he is Energy Minister. Huhne is a Libdem, so a batch of Libdems if not already resigned, appear to be hanging by a thin thread. One ponders on the ups and downs of Cable and Laws.
The latest on this is that Nick Clegg the Libdem party leader will be making an announcement shortly. Looks like its political curtains for Huhne.
