Along with Ed's pictures of the ferrey damage in 1987 it shows the power of the sea and how it should be respected !

Elaine and Peter: I agree. Once came down the North Sea in a force 10+ gale. The service in the restaurant was first class as we were the only people in there. Superb photos by the way.

the sea looked fairly rough in murky folkestone earlier.

it sure was yesterday as I walked Dover to Folkestone via the cliffs bit breazy around Capel.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
