Wasn't aware there was any doubt Michael Stone was guilty?

From what I understand the original trial was very shoddy with not all evidence put before the jury.
Will watch with interest.

I had heard on another programme that he had links to the south Kent area,i,m sure they said he had a relative who lived not far away that he sometimes visited.

Watched it and very inconclusive so far as expected. Bellfield fits the bill but even though he is serving a full life sentence for the murder of Milly Dowler has shown no remorse for his crimes and will not give closure to the families of his victims.
Stone is a total low life but all his crimes are about more money in his pocket and listening to tapes from him I seriously doubt that he was ever capable of what he is locked up for.

he lost his appeal to .
E-fit from a car mirror is a bit suspect, I always thought the burden of proof had to be high in a murder case?
there's some house at the bottom of that lane so he could have been out robbing, and junk's without it will do most things to get it.

I think the conviction of Michael Stone was very unsound. Sending someone to jail because of what some convict alleged he said is not justice, even if he was actually guilty.
I have believed for some time it was Bellfield also.

Having watched tonight's episode the conviction looks very doubtful although I have no problem with Stone being behind bars as we would have carried out more crimes outside. If it was Belfield he is banged up for life anyway.
