    Intersting, but then Peter's post 14 is about an elite, and its connection to education. And also in connection to governing, at least as I understood it.

    As the topic is about equality and equal opportunities for all, and how schools and education play a role in it, or at least it evolved into this, I thought I'd put in my tallent's worth of history.

    Because there was mention of an elite and its role as an inspirational example so as to avoid the heavy hand of Government, and how this elite should have access to particular education, it rang some history bells.
