Charlie's most prominent number in London pulled off when his doggie won a pedigree prize outside Parliament.
He (his dog) further made headlines when it went lost from Charlie's new home and was discovered sitting on a cliff edge.

Charlie's biggest crowd gathering reached 150 people at the Dover Sea Sports centre to launch "Save our White Cliffs".
Not even the presence of Dame Vera could change those figures.

To our disgrace, a section of the White Cliffs actually did fall into the sea some time later.

But when it came to saving a section of the White Cliffs by raising money to purchase it for the National Trust, DHB paid up a sizable sum. Where was Charlie then?
