  David. They do not work for a political party and perhaps you might find out more about how political parties actually work and not jump onto the common misconceptions and tabloid characterisations.
  
  Charlie has done an excellent job as a constituency MP.
  
  His work over the People's Port and stopping the DHB plans in their tracks was outstanding. He will, no doubt, carry on to see the People's Port project to a successful conclusion. You cannot underestimate the amount of work he has put in what with lobbying and his outmanoeuvring Goldfield with his amendments.
  
  He is highly active in raising local issues time and time again at every opportunity.
  
  I am aware of a lot of individual work for constituents that he has done as well.
  
  He may be a bit left of my own more traditional brand of Conservatism but there is no doubt at all that he is a first class MP.
  
  Imagine the mess Prosser would have made of things - now that is someone who did nothing for Dover.
