Going back on track, the whole point of this post was as above, perhaps a sex offender would be given a chance to resume his life and was he made an example?
I don't care if he was made an example, sexual assault is sexual assault and there is a right and wrong I'm afraid, no means no.....etc. How would any of us felt if our daughter was the one abused?
You can quote so many examples from history but it doesn't make what he did right or acceptable, or excuse him.
To all you "experienced" people on here, I think any young person being sexually assaulted has enough life experience to know that is wrong, regardless of how much experience they have and I would not consider that to be part of their "silly little self-obsessed lives".
