  Because the offences were carried out years ago does not reduce their seriousness - if he hadn’t been reported what was there to prevent him continuing? He wasn’t committing an offence because he was under stress or pressure but it sounds very much like he was an opportunist who never considered that he’d get caught.
  He’s now completed his sentence and has hopefully learned from his experience- let’s hope he can now find some gainful employment out of the public eye and put his education and public service to good use.
