Anyone know if any of Dover's charity emporia are open?
I have plenty of donations ready for them...

They are allowed to open. Whether or not they do open depends on their staff/volunteers, many of whom will be 70+.

There are about 166,000 charities in the UK, with a total annual turnover of just under £48bn. Over 600 dealing just with 'homeless' in London!
Each dealing with 15 'homeless' persons presumably?
Well meaning but inefficient and useless in the main.
As I've said before charity shops an excellent way of keeping middle class ladies with a bit of a drink problem busy of an afternoon.
