What? NO to charges. That is appalling. We already pay for it. Do the doctors really want it? Do you really want it?
I suggest we employ the same amount of civil service staff that currently chase 'benefit cheats' and task them with chasing 'corporate tax cheats' that way for a relatively small outlay we get the tax due and fund these services sensibly. Tax justice and common sense required.

£.146 per patient is not a lot even taking into account those who might just go twice a year for a 10 minute appointment. Surgeries now offer more services than ever, mine even offered me acupuncture which can't be cheap.

We also have to take into account those who never go to the doctor, I have lived back in Dover 10yrs and visited once and our daughter has not been for around 5 years.
