    An interesting (for some) aside...

    Just had a proper look at the Home page picture with the Bf109E full sized model that was 'parked' on the front.

    The aircraft has the distinctive 'Mickey Mouse' emblem on the side signifying that the aircraft depicted is that flown by Luftwaffe ace Adolf Galand during the Battle of Britain.

    Here is a pic of Galland in the cockpit of that aircraft.


    You will note that the model is inaccurate in not having Galland's gun-sight tube on the front - something not on a standard 109 and was a personal thing.
