sorry to go off topic but the comments above by alex reminds me of a piece of history.
nelson standing on the bridge of his at the battle of trafalgar dressed in a bright red tunic, his second in command is horrified and asks why he is making himself a target for the enemy, nelson - stiff upper lip - replies "i am setting an example to the men,should i be hit any blood will not show against the colour of my tunic".
his oppo says "excuse me a moment sir".
nelson "wherefore art thou going".
the reply came back "to change into the brown trousers sir".
