Just read that there was a service/ceremony last weekend in remembrance of the above, has anybody else heard the same?

Gradually getting there, next questions must be Date? Time? Who organised and who took the photos?
DTC and DDC had/have nothing on their respective websites about the event.

I attended for three years. One year it rained so hard we had to hold the service in the Yacht Club.I think this year it was held on Friday.Line up at the RCPY Club. The Town Mayor usually attends as well.

Getting a bit closer, must have been held on the seafront probably Friday, no mention on the Mayor's excellent Facebook page so we must assume that whoever organised it didn't invite him or he was otherwise engaged. Will continue to hunt down photos time permitting.

2pm on Friday Howard, it was well attended even with a bitterly cold westerly gale howling along the seafront.
