Paul, post 19:
On the previous Western Heights thread, I explained a couple of times that the Western Heights group had designated specific missions to different members. Some members read through all the documentation and explained the main points to all the rest of the assembly.
Other members had different jobs to carry out. One of my jobs was to await marching orders to enter town and gather signatures.
Every one in the group was made aware of the website where to download the CGI planning application in full if they so wished to.
Personally I gathered enough information on Dover Forum to know what it was all about, and viewed the maps presented by CGI in Braddon.
That said, if a person is against building 700 odd houses on protected Green Areas (SAM and AoONB) - for those who may have forgotten this means Scheduled Ancient Monument (Western Heights) and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (Farthingloe), they need not read through the endless documentation on whether these proposed buildings would be facing North, South, have a green roof or a backyard toilet.
The response will be simply: NO, even if they were proposed in gold with a ribbon on top!
