Agreed. Just hope the work to create the car park, seating area etc. happens soon after the demolition.

As it's DDC's own application, it should be recommended for approval - but you never know.

Not at all Peter. It's the officers who make the recommendation - for approval or rejection, so no predetermination at all.
It's the Committee who make the decision - on the day they sit, after they have heard all the evidence and listened to any speakers.

If I'm reading DDC's June 2016 FOI list of business rate accounts correctly, HMRC are in credit on Centurion House to the tune of £2,784.11. If they don't want it back, what are the chances of taxpayer Button claiming it?
