the a 20 is starting to back up,allready up to york street roundabout.

Yes Brian the A20 is backing up but I cant see any reason for it. All ferries appear to be working fine. Bad weather with strong winds is expected later alright but so far all appears normal apart for the tailback.

Volume of traffic! You should have seen it yesterday on the other side of the channel coming this way - I thought half of Europe was coming to invade!!!

i suppose with everyone else working on monday and tuesday the rest of europe must have been loading trucks ready for when we opened for business again.

That's certainly the way I see it Howard. Dunkerque, Calais and the Tunnel were an absolute nightmare for trucks heading this way. I don't suppose the shipping companies were complaining though!

broken down lorry/accident outside lane by the bp garage limekiln street,recovery in attendance,traffic back to courtwood interchange emergancy sirens going to and fro..
the met office forcasting winds to 60 mph tonight and tomorrow,arrmaggedon has arived early.

Just seen on Twitter that problems at the tunnel have caused freight to divert to Dover causing the queues.

another excuse martin,of putting car/coach passengers on [spend more money than lorry drivers].and makes bob goldfingers figures look good as well.

That is exactly what happens Brian, the decision is the Ferry companies though for the on board spend.

yes martin,its terrable way to do busness but who are to say differant.while your on martin just had a word with one of the coppers on the roundabout she was saying that the tunnel is running ok with no problems.
