  Roger, despite your protestations I am never personal. It is clear that yesterday you made a crass mistake and later, after consultation with hierarchy issued a retraction of sorts. That's how the silly world we're in works.
  
  As jan points out, you and I have CHOSEN to lift our heads above the parapet, I can assure you I get far more stick than you do but I'm comfortable with the principles of the party I represent. I'm very new to this game so really it's inappropriate to give advice but it might be sensible to remember that regeneration is the biggest story in town. Therefore, councillors making ill judged and irresponsible remarks are going to be attacked.
  
  To be honest roger it seems you've been in the game too long and it's worn you down, you're a decent bloke who's worked very hard but you and your pals at DDC have run out of gas.
  
  And deep down you know that.
  
  I'm very happy to meet up at your convenience, I bear no malice to anybody, but the whole town is sick and tired of this debacle called DTIZ and this thread epitomises the shambles that is DDC.
