Last Tuesday I used one in town to draw out £.60 then walked off with the card but not the money. When I got home it suddenly dawned on me what I had done so went straight back to see if anyone had handed it in - no luck there.
Got out a mini statement yesterday and there was £60 paid in as cashpoint adjustment. I rang up the head office to find out what it was all about and was told if the cash is not taken in a set number of seconds the machine takes it back, learn something new every day.
