17:2277084Just had our last room carpeted this morning by Florland Carpets of London road. They`ve done the whole house over the last 6 or 7 years. Never had any problems, and always had excellent and freindly service. I believe there`s two other carpet shops in Dover. I`m sure everyone has a bit of carpeting, so any comments on the one I mention above, or any other`s in town? On this carpet topic, I`d also like to ask if anybody know`s of any use for the remnant`s which maybe too small to make any use of? We usually have a couple of small doormats made out of them, but there`s still a surplus.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

17:2777086I have used Mascal carpets in the past, good service and a tidy job.
You could use the offcuts on your compost heap if you have one, it keeps the heat in and helps the decomposition process.

18:0677102When we moved to this house nearly 7 years ago we used Action getting a cheap carpet as I get fed up with them after a while and want a change. The carpet is still going strong with very little sign of wear and I have not got fed up with it................yet.
There is also the shop in Charlton Centre that sells carpets, furniture and ornaments near my wonderful butcher.

22:5377162Use for a piece of carpet: Bob put a space piece to line his car boot, and it can easily be taken out and shaken.
Also inside the greenhouse, on the path, to make it more comfortable in there !
Put a small piece around base of tree etc. to stop weeds.

06:3677179Another use. A small piece upside down under furniture when moving around on wood or tiles floors.

07:5977186On the floor in the garage, sheds or green house, keeps it slightly warmer and can be vacuumed occasionally.
Could also use them for rugs just inside the front and back door when you've come in with dirty boots/shoes.

08:1377190I always use a small mat size piece outside and inside the door for the cats when they come in through the cat flap and throw it away when it gets too grubby.
I just realised how strange that appears, to explain it seems to dry their paws off more than a conventional door mat so there is not the trail of muudy prints across the kitchen floor.
