  I attended this event held on Walmer Green last evening .Music provided by the Snowdown Colliery Band and singing by the pupils from Sholden School.A well attended event ,although rather cold .Later on I watched the Deal Winter Carnival .All told agood community event .Well done Deal and Walmer.

  The Shepway Carols on the Leas bandstand were exceptional. The Sally Army Band played and the boys and girls from St Eanswyth's Primary School sang brilliantly. There was a huge round of applause for a very jolly "Jubilante Deo".
