WOW WHAT A DAY !!!!!!
I am finally awake (ish) although a little husky and incredibly tired.
Yesterday The Town hall was packed to the rafters, with visiting courts and contestants.
It saw DCAL's BIGGEST EVER selection for the senior competition with 21 girls competing for just 3 places, so glad I wasn't judging.
A total of more than 45 girls competed for the 7 places on offer
Our 2008 court stood down in a blaze of glory by "ROCKING ALL OVER THE WORLD" followed by their very final, very emotional stand down curtsey to the legend that is Andrea Botchelli singing "because we believe" I don't think there was a dry eye in the house.
There were also tears of joy from the 7 young ladies who will represnt Dover in 2009
