i like that bit about the local council not having had any complaints, ridley road market is rather large and well known and all the meat highly visible.

Apparently, through reading the report, it is likely that criminals don't obey the law. That alone makes the TV license worth while. Quite whether just being "in it for the money" is enough in itself to tarnish a reputation or lead to the public chopping-block...the jury is still out.
I wonder if you can still get your hands on 'potted-meat' (called potted-head in Scotland) these days? Although, since BSE, it (and real Haggis in the USA) is illegal.

The only place in London where rats can be found is in the sewage system.
That must be where the rats are being fished from!
