I noticed a car in Beaconsfield Avenue with a smashed window and what looked like a half brick inside at just gone midday today.
There actually was a copper around (two in fact) by the time I got to Balfour Road. They knew about it and were on their way to look at another one. There had been "a few" in the area apparently.
I know it sounds banal advice but: Don't leave stuff in your car. Even if it's in the boot.
Said car in Beaconsfield was exactly where I was parked for a day or so over Christmas. I'm feeling a bit lucky here.

Someone must have heard something and gone out to see what was happening, the roads mentioned so far are full of cars parked outside houses.

There are reports of vandalism through to theft from cars virtually every day on the Facebook page where I am an admin, wing mirrors seem to be the favourite target.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.
