Car alarms
- 18 June 2015 20:32283557One in Longfield Road went off at about 6. 30 pm and lasted until 8 pm, now restarted!!
Most of us like to sit out in the garden during these light evenings but I can even hear it indoors, how do we make them stop? - Andy B

18 June 2015 20:46283559I sorted mine out.The car i have now will flash the hazards and sound the alarm horn if you dont start the car within a short time,however it malfuntioned which left me just seconds to get in,put the keys in and start it.All efforts to fix it were useless and i became the centre of attention evey time i went out in it.Just the other week it sounded the alarm again and was still going when i got to the end of the road.I was so annoyed that i stopped and opened the boot,pulled the trim off the inside and tore the wires off.Had alot of people watching me cursing and swearing but at least it wont do it again. - 18 June 2015 20:57283560Car alarms are annoying, but thankfully rare.
It's the barking dogs that really annoy me much more. There's 3 near me, 7 days a week, at any hour. If I had a gun and it was legal I would shoot them all

19 June 2015 09:14283567Karlos you have my sympathy my neighbour has two dogs that also love the sound of their own voice and I can be heard shouting shut up at them out of pure frustration even though it does no good. When I had dogs we trained them not to keep bark so it is possible.
Car alarms and burglar alarms are absolutely awful when they go on and on relentlessly.-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.
