Cancellation of Neighbourhood Forum Meeting at Town Council Offices!

Due to the recent adverse weather conditions, and the uncertainty over conditions for the rest of the week, the decision has been taken to cancel the Dover Town Neighbourhood Forum due to take place on Thursday 14 January. The Forum was scheduled to take place at Dover Town Council offices to discuss 'Support in Difficult Times', and will be rescheduled for February.

At this time, the Dover West Neighbourhood Forum remains scheduled for Monday 18 January from 6.30pm at Capel Village Hall. The meeting will be discussing 'Save Money: It's Time To Do Something' with advice on how you could save money now and in the future. why do they notify you by post, i thought all councillors were supplied with laptops, so that e mails would suffice.? - 12 January 2010 22:4437362You are so right Howard we do have lap tops ,and very slow they are too.We do have emails and still they send out letters sheer waste .I could save a few pennies .Meetings called with one or two agenda items waste of time and money .
i have not mentioned the screen Howard as we donot wish to water down the toilet issuie ,howeve people who have rung me and written to the Leader have stated what a waste of money it is .Running for hours a day yet we cannot keep a toilet open - 12 January 2010 22:5537365very witty susan "water down the toilet issue" indeed.

the screen brought us all our local children(at the pre asbo stage) tugging at our heartstrings singing carols over the winterval period.

13 January 2010 07:3537380thats a bog standerd reply howard,i here that they are putting a musical version of eastenders on the big screen closely followed by an all singing and dancing jerry springer show should be intressting to watch.
- 13 January 2010 10:2437391At the risk of watering down the toilet issue..Sue has a point perhaps about waste. here is a picture of the screen taken recently barbling away in the corner unwatched by man or beast...however it is at least colourful.
