I hope the poor man is soon back in his care home, I can only imagine how worried his daughter must be.

It's all panned out OK - he's been found. Kent Police release:
"Mr Mellor was found in the garden of a derelict house in Sturry just after 4.15pm today. He was suffering from mild exposure and has been taken to hospital for checks. He has been reunited with his family.
The support from our online community has been fantastic and a huge thanks to those who have been out and about looking for him.
Good to end the week on a happy note. Have a great weekend."

Great news, so many of these sort of incidents end up in tragedy, his family must be elated.
