Sadly my partner died at 1.20 today in the Pilgrims Hospice in Canterbury, he went very quietly and in no pain. Unfortunately, the secondary tumours in his head and spine responded poorly to radio therapy and the disease burden on his system just proved too much in the end. The staff at the hospice were all fantastic and all played their part in making the end very dignified. I of course cried my eyes out.
So I am now in the position of having the unenviable task of looking for
a) a good funeral director who can arrange a humanist eco-funeral
b) a solicitor to deal with the will etc.
Any recommendations would be much appreciated
