Righteous indignation at its best. This is the French departure point to a non-Schengen country. Why should they care? It's our guys who do the policing even if it is in France (which it very nearly wouldn't have been for much longer had we not coughed up even more dosh). The French point of view is very clear to those who have made the effort to understand it. They have taken in thousands more refugees that the UK. They have an equally pressing terrorism problem (perhaps even more so) than the UK. They are not going to worry about the hard core who are so determined to get to our shores that they will risk any deprivation or danger to do it.

Wouldn't it be interesting if the boot were on the other foot?

One of the many aspects that will make Brexit and the island of Ireland very interesting this year.
