18:5177116did anyone know that the above mentioned duchess of somewhere or other was at the battle of britain memorial today?
she unveiled a memorial to sir keith park who masterminded the r.a.f during the battle of britain in 1940.
also there was flight lieutenant william walker(aged97) the oldest survivor of those dark days.

no doubt at his next dinner party the guests will be tucking into stag sandwiches.

22:1577154I did know about the visit our DDC Chairman was there .For my part I attended another funeral at our Parish Church .The lady was a former teacher at our local school and a great supporter of the Conservatives .
