    PaulB - as I said the mainstream is Eurosceptic and that includes DC. He is saying what he has to say as PM, specially one leading a coalition with Libdems. Without the LDs we would have the most anti-EU government we have ever had and this is a trend that has set in. A Conservative majority will see opposition to our present relationship with the EU irresistible for renegotiation. We should be discussing what a renegotiated relationship should look like and talk like, 'we are better off in', is no more than political window dressing. The real serious stuff about the EU is yet to start.
