There was some uncomfortable moments at Prime Ministers Questions today when younger than ever looking Ed Miliband tried to drive a wedge between the two Coalition parties on Europe. There is indeed a wedge between them, a yawning gap, as both Cameron and Cleggy were in open disagreement on the EU the other day...but somehow during PMQ they glue together...to secure the position they seek above all other - survival.
However they do look uncomfortable and no mistake.
Although Cameron puts up a good performance of sorts..he still appears as though in opposition. Revelling in the guffaws and sniggers..not very prime ministerial.
The session was notable in that all the Conservatives rallied together, closed ranks, nary a backbencher uttered the fateful words.. EU..all gobs were zipped tight on that one. Odd.
